Will I be able to get homeowners insurance with Polybutylene Piping (PB)?

Polybutylene piping is an issue with Insurance companies.

Integrity Home Inspection has consulted with several insurance agencies regarding Polybutylene piping. In some cases, insurers will cover homes it, however, they impose a very large deductible—often up to 10% of the home’s value. For example, on a $100,000 home, the deductible could reach $10,000. In most situations, you can remediate (replace) the Polybutylene piping for about half the cost of that increased deductible. This eliminates the leak risk associated with this material entirely.

Citizens Insurance is a state-run insurance agency. See their answer below.

Citizens Insurance, Florida’s state-run insurer of last resort, states the following (which you can verify directly on the Citizens website): “Dwellings 20 years old or newer with polybutylene piping may be eligible for coverage with Citizens. This is only if there are no signs of leaks, unrepaired water damage, disrepair, or hazards.”

New-business risks over 20 years old with polybutylene piping are not insurable by Citizens for the following policy forms: (see link below for complete information)

It appears that Citizens may approve it in houses younger than 20 years. However, they do not approve it if the home is older than 20 years. Citizens Home Condition Requirements dated June of 2022.
